Pumpkin Patch 2012

This year we went to Country Pumpkins in Orland. Last year, we went to TJ farms here in Chico, but they were already out of pumpkins. You can see Liam's first trip to the pumpkin patch by going HERE!

This year Liam REALLY enjoyed everything! He loved the animals and all the noises they made. He saw the Chickens, and thought they were amazing! It was a huge change from last year. He didn't want to leave!

Leave it to my son to find the ugliest pumpkins in the patch. He wanted "green ones", so that's what we got.

This corn maze was freaky!! As we got deeper into the maze, I hated the feeling that I had completely lost my sense of direction. Matt and I had no idea it was so big! We had been walking for about 15 minutes, and continued to believe we were almost at the end. Then we came across a sign that said 45 minutes to the exit!! With a 2 year old, this was not going to work. They also had a sign pointing us back in the direction we came that said 15 minutes to the exit. I was so thankful to see that sign! I felt so lost! People actually go through this maze at night time, and allow people to jump out and scare them.
No thank you!

Can you see that freaky old piano in the background? That was just one of the many dead ends they had. Some had dirty old couches, old beds with bloody sheets, and old pirate ship, a wolves den with a scary looking wolf. It scared me. I couldn't imagine going back in the dark!!

There is my big boy! I can't believe how much he has grown in one year!

I love making memories with these 2 boys! They are so special to me, and I couldn't be happier. Happy Halloween everyone!

Our Little Pilot!

We went to the Chico Airshow this past weekend, and I don't think I've ever seen Liam so excited. He LOVES airplanes, jets, and helicopters, so being able to sit in one was a dream come true for him. Matt also has a great love for aviation, so it was so fun to watch my two boys in their element. Liam also got to go in what he calls "A Big Mack Truck" which is a semi-truck. Once inside though, he was ready to "go back out". It was a beautiful day!
